I just bought a AVH-P4300DVD on the forums, and am looking into adding a few features.

ASWC brings steering wheel controls back to with aftermarket head units.
Pioneer's CD-IU200V allows video playback from an iDevice on the head unit.

Both accessories use the AUX port in the back, but there's only one AUX port.
Is there a solution to this? I'd like to have both features, but there seems to be a limitation, so far.

The only solution I've come by so far is having to get a new whole harness that comes ASWC ready, but I'm trying to avoid that ATM.

Anybody run into this problem?

theres 2 different ports for those. a w/r (wired remote) and aux in. theres also a rear audio out and what looks like optical out as well

That picture clears it up a lot.

I see where the Pioneer cable goes. The Aux In and USB port are right next to each other for that.
I would suppose that the AWSC goes into the W/R, right?

Hey Emperor,
I installed my radio, but after awhile my radio died and I got jumped.
Now my radio won't turn on at all. Any ideas?

I got it figured out, lol.
It was just the dead battery still.

 

Emperor, you wouldn't know how to wire up the AWSC though would you? lol.
