I would start by taking a voltmeter to your power line coming in as well as your REM wire. I would also check the resistance on your ground wire to make sure you have a good ground.

do you have it wired up to a aftermarket headunit or using a output converter?
With that much wattage out of an amp, it either works or it doesn't. lol

ok honky.

lets run diagnostics.

does your amp get power?
which wires did you splice into with your LOC?
is your LOC adjustable?

those three questions will help figure out which direction to go with further diagnostic.

Yes my amp has 14 volts going through it when the car is on and I hooked up the converter to the rear speaker wires how do I check if power is going to the sub will there also be 14 volts in the speaker wire going to the sub?

I haven't checked the remote but I assume its ok since the amp turns off.when I turn the car off, and yes the ground for the amp,

Ok Im pretty sure I found out whats wrong I get power from the sliced wires up by the rear speakers but not down where the wires are sliced for the converter so I guess that wiring is no good ill try reading it tomorrow and see what happens but I got another problem,

My capacitor got disconnected with the grand disconnected and the capacitor lost all its juice, can anybody tell me how to recharge my capacitor I forget

A capacitor charges up to the voltage it is in parallel with. It will recharge by itself the next time you have it hooked up properly.

So you have the LOC spliced into the rear speakers. RCA from the LOC to the AMP. 14V and GRND to the amp, and 14V to the remote.

If that is how you are having this setup, that should work no problem. Make sure you have the correct buttons and knobs all set correctly the amp as well.

if its digital it should light back up when u turn the car on/off (not necessarily the first time might have to turn on then off to see it)

ditch the capacitor.

it's a band aide anyway.

so it appears the outputs on the amp are actually outputting, just not making it to the end of your output wires? that sounds like a broken pair of wires to me.

also, from reading i almost got the impression that you have the 7 speaker system? the one which came with a stock sub? if so, your not going to want to splice the rear speakers but instead the stock subwoofer wires.
