audio woes

ok im really stuck at this point with my audio set up in both my and my g/f's sub performance, ever since it started to get warm here in WI, both of our set ups have had a really dirty distorted bass sound to them and have been about half as loud as they should be...hers i can barley hear....and we have two compleatly diffrent setups...

i have a MA Hardkore 1200Wmono puching 2 diamond d3 dvc 10's in a ported box

she *just looking for some small amounts of bass with this* has some Dub amp 550Wmax 2 channel bridged and a pioneer sub in a sealed box

i donno i just cant understand whats going on, is it the heat?

that is strange. usually heat only makes the amp shut off. never heard of it distoring sounnd. do the amps have fans on them?? im actually installing MTX tweeters inside my headrests as we speak, just took a break.
