Avic-d2

Ok, I'm really interested in buying the AVIC-D2 but according to Crutchfield it does not fit my vehicle and is not recommended. I did a quick little Search and couldn't come up with aynthing so has anyone attempted a double-din in-dash install? Let me know cause I want to buy this quick!

*edit*

and does anyone know if a ps2 will plug in to the rear of the D2 without any additional accessories?

yes you can mount a double din in our cars... and yes you can plug the a/v cables directly into the d2

heyyy i was just at bestbuy and i seen the avic d2, not bad really, pricewise for a dvd/navi system, i myself have the kenwood kvt 717 (not DD), its sitting in a box right now cause i had xm free, but as soon as its over i wanted to put my deck in, until i seen the pioneer,

wouldnt it be nice to have an all pioneer system? it would make it look like the DD screen on the avic d2 look like it came from the factory that way
