Best DVD/headunit for 05 Ls? Im a Noob on this stuff.

Well, I have all of my exterior stuff done, and sine I spend alot of time on the road and what not, I think it is time to upgrade the factory headunit. I was at work the other day and working on a car that had a Jensen headunit with the little tv screen that came out and flipped up.

Now, I know nothing about audio stuff, I an install it no problem though. For $400 and under what would you guys recommend for a good DVD/Cd headunit.

thanks for all input and ideas !

I like the double dins cause i am always afraid of the the screen not coming out with a flip out screen but that is my opinion. A good pioneer double din will cost about 600-1000 depending where you get it

jensen dvm i believe its called. you can prolly get one used w/ the harness and wires for around 350'ish.

I have one in my car and i love it. It makes the speakers sound better and the screen itself is pretty good good.

the thing that makes the Z1 and Z2 so high are the built in HDD drive but in my opinion there worth the money if you got it. i currently own 2 no problems or issues with them

i have a jensen vm9022......ipod capability, auxiliary inputs, bluetooth connectivy w/o any modules or extra **** you have to buy. hasn't failed me since i've had it. costs circa 450 online shipped

oh yea flip outs tend to block your heater vents a little or a lot depending on how you mount it....tends to get annoying thats why i traded mine for a double din
