if only....

this sub is 20 pounds lighter than the previous generation though. thank god. i almost blew my ******* out lifting it.

nah, only a 12. honestly i don't think that theres enough airspace in subcompact car's (on average) trunk to be satisfactory for a 18 inch to be that effective.

and yea, this is one of the few times where i buy something at the right time, instead of getting it right before they discontinue it and something better comes out thats based on the previous model.

Tbh idk what the box dimensions are.. i had a audio shop build me one and i beleive its tuned to 32hz or 34 hz wish i could help you on that though

thats ok. btw is that the btl by any chance? if so i must got a older model cause the magnet on mine is freaking hugeee

should of gotten the AA SMD version better than the btl

yea its the btl. new generation they just released circa november. and yea i agree with the AA comment but steve meade is a douche and i wouldn't spend money on anything to support him.

yea royalties basically. he's a posterboy for a couple companies now....the fanboys love his unboxing videos and gave him enough of a following for companies to sponsor him etc.

and i totally agree on your design comment. the mounting depth is the most retarded thing i've ever seen.

as for the differences:

weight
better thermal handling
as well as the neomagnet.
