when you are making the hole for a 12inch woofer, what size circle do you cut?

im thinking it is like 11 3/4inch across?

any help appreciated

 

honestly it depends on the woofer...I've had cutouts for those bullshit memphis C3's and mojos be wrong because they don't account for their poorly engineered terminals that stick out another .25 inches.....you still got that btl? if so, it's 11.25 across.

 

yea its for the BTL, the front piece of wood that holds the sub finally gave out after 2 years of slammin and holding a 65-70lb woofer.

the btl magnet its self is like 11" wide so you damn near have to shove the sub down through the hole before you can mount the sub

yea trust me, i know this, i have a btl-n2 remember ? :P anyways, you should double baffle the front piece if you haven't already. good luck bro let me know how it turns out.

 

I was thinking about double baffling it but I just ended up buying 1" mdf instead of 3/4" so it should be an upgrade at least.

but yea i forgot you had the btl also, ive had mine for like 1 1/2 - 2 years and its still beatin down the block like the day i bought it.

 

haha nice....yea, I can't wait to run this N2 wide open....just dropped the money on a dcpoweralt so I can get full potential out of my 2500bdcp.....too much voltage drop to push the n2 to what it can do :[....that is...until now >: )
