box is too big.. anything i can do to make it fit?

box is too big.. anything i can do to make it fit?

i jsut got two 15s and they will fit in my cobalt but the box is to big to get them in the trunk.. waht can i do?

i dont want to buy a new box.

15's are way to big for that trunk sorry to say. You are not going to benfit the size of that sub in such a small area. But the only way to really have those subs in your car would be a custom enclosure.

Anyway. how big is the box? Anything over 16" tall and 32" wide wont fit

x2 custom it is for you. you have 16.5 inches of clearance from the back seats

Yeah I am working on it, sorry dude.. new on this forum.. Some1 told me about this @ Nopi.

But anyways, yeah, custom fiberglass box will be my choice.

right custom FTW... but a MDF enclosure can fit actually... wedge style.

i had a 15 before my custom stuff, i had to take out the back seats to get the box in. There are 4 bolts to take them out.

i got them to fit.. i was off by about half inch from the back seatss so i bent the metal bar back and they slid right in.
