can you use the buttons on the steering wheel on a aftermart cd player

can you use the buttons on the steering wheel on a aftermart cd player

I want to get a screen video player in place of my stock one but is there a way to hook up the buttons on the steering wheel so theres not a wheel full of dead buttons?

Yes but you need a box for it they cost about 55 bucks depending where you get it. I actually have a brand new one for all stereos never used.

yes tru all u need is the gm module... we install them all the time at my work... but sumtimes all ur buttons may not work only the main ones like vol, mute, trck, src..

BEE FTW! thos r the sam ones we use... they work great just dnt 4get 2 program it b4 u put ur deck and dash back together

o... and btw if u have onstar u will also need the gm interface which u can also purchase online...

yeah i dont have onstar so i did not know that but i think we gave them all the info they need
