Angry cant have anything nice around here!

long story short, someone tried to steal my gf's car sat. night.(******* DESTROYED the ignition!) so now i want a 2 way alarm. anyway, my question is how hard are alarms to install yourself? im looking at the viper 791XV. any suggestions/help would be apreciated!

Usually when you buy stuff like that at like a Best Buy, the installation is free. it was when i had my alarm installed on a car I had not too long ago. As far as doing it yourself, I'm not totally sure.

not sure about that school. no kids, so dont pay attention to elementary schools.

Yea, if it were me, I'd be lookin at a Best Buy or something cuz if you just so happen to hook somethin up wrong, you could blow the alarm or it'll start goin off on ya and won't shut off or w/e lol

I was told by someone at GM that if someone starts the car with anything but the ignition key, there's a fuel cut-off that kills the fuel pump. I'm gonna guess that they didn't know what they were talking about tho?

yeah, my car has that. so does hers. it just caused them to **** the ignition up. not just the tumbler, but the metal bracket that holds it all together in the steering column. not sure what its gonna cost to replace, and im not looking forward to it! she only has liability.
i dont want a broken ignition, or window.

and before anyone says you just have a 2.2 dont worry about it. she only has a slightly modded neon se. and there are bmw's, G35's etc, around here. and they went after her car.

Large pit bull, hungry, leave in back seat.

If anyone trys to jack your ride, you can take the hand (or arm, leg, whatever bit got left behind)around to the hospitals and match it to a suspect
