alright... i'm looking into getting a new car alarm for my cobalt ls. i have manual locks but i'm currently in the process of taking care of that. what i am wanting to know is what kind of alarm i should get. right now i'm looking at a viper alarm, i can't remember the model number, but it comes with the 2-way remote with the screen on it. it retails for like $510 at Best Buy, but i'm getting it for $170 since i have a buddy who works there. and the installation is free and i'm gonna make sure they hide everything. any advice for me?

 

best buy wont do it for free. they will charge u 100 bucks cuz u changed the price of the product im a MECP installer for best buy. our car isnt to bad to do a alarm in. its just when u get to remote start. u can change the door locks to auto. ive done it on many cars. and also put a relay in so u can have trunk pop. i did it on my friends 2.4 SS..yet manual)no remote start). let me know if u need any ideas...good luck
