Car Alarms
hey guys recently my car was keyed pretty bad so my question is what car alarm would you all recommend? im looking for a proximity alarm(i think thats the name) any ways one where it'll give you a warning if you get to close before it goes nuts. what do you all recommend?

You either don't have really "bad kids" in your nieghborhood... or you underestimate them. Trust me, a pre-warning is not going to stop them, if anything it'll provoke them, and you sure as hell aren't going to hear it in time. The ******** of today know far to well how the judicial system works. You could catch them red-handed and I garauntee you will still not be able to prove who did it. It's your word against theirs.
Just my .02 cents to save you a potentially annoying investment. It'll go off ever 10 seconds from wind, people in parking lots (a close contact area, not vandals), people on sidewalks. Things it doesn't need to go off for. And when it goes off for the right people, you won't catch them anyway.
