Still Showing the car & still impressing the judges, its been about a year since the last time I posted..been busy with work & life. Since last year when I first posted about the computer I mounted in the car, it has come a long way.
I now have a Snowball external mic for the shows that runs usb so very little power drain... below the Mic on the display sign it has 10 commands that anyone can ask the car. In those commands she will tell you almost anything you want to know about it, side note its great for the judges. The internal or in car mic is a Andrea Superbeam usb, it works well, as you will see in the videos.

We aim to please , really it still has regular radio, gps, movies, mpeg all the other normal stuff a headunit has, just incase the comp goes down, it is also touchscreen & I have mini keyboard with a built in mouse.
I also have a usb run monitor for shows, people can see the screen & the headunit doesn't need to be on.

 

Haha yea I told them they were idiots and clueless as to what the car was but ya know how that goes .

I love it, its been alot of fun so far. Mods what mods I haven't figure out how to wifi her to the appliances yet!

I've done so many shows, heard so many opinions, had people suggest stuff...none of it bothers me.
Now when it comes to put up or shut up, Amanda has done her share of sending people home Winless .. thats what matters!
On top of that I've never lost to another balt or import when Head to Head at any show even the Nationals!

So did I, that's why I didn't give up & made it work! You should see the Kids & adults for that matter when she starts talking. The commands I gave her in the Vid are just the start, I think currently she has over 10,000 commands, every thing on the screen she can control...she even knows how to do dictation!
