Component Speaker info..

Hey everyone i was curious what do most of you recommend when it comes to replacing stock door speakers with a component set up. any help would be great.

Go boston, for the money you cant beat them... JL blows now a days... Also give me a budget of what you want to spend and we can point you in an area. Also, Memphis, Hertz, Rockford have great speakers also... Im a JL dealer as well but am not impressed at all with their new products, back then they were the ****. Now sound like ball sack

Also what kind of music do you usually listen too?

im just running some infiniti reference components and they sound great....i think i paid like $150 - $200 and i run them off the cd player

My buddy runs a audio shop and said he'll sell a set of soundstream components for 175$ and do the install for free. They are the same ones he is running in his truck. iono what series they are however

soundstream sucks dick speaker wise... they make decent foldouts and double dins and they are the first to come out with a digital tv tuner... if you want to spend no more than 500 id send you to the boston sr line componets... you need a good 4ch, such as a RF, memphis, audison, eclipse amp to run them. TRUST ME you will be in love and never turn back. those run about 400. the SR 6x9's are amazing too those are around 349 or so

if i was to get boston then ill order them the store that sells them here are a bunch of ****** crooks for pricing and is staffed by a bunch of 16 year olds with civics haha thats probly why i didnt even think about boston

thats a steal... thats below cost on them... just realize if you do get them on the internet boston does NOT warrenty them... you wont have problems with them if you know how to listen to your music... youll love them man.

hertz are for people who listen to certain types of music... no doubt they are a GREAT speaker but they dont have enough tweet for some types of music, they have sooooo much more mid bass than their tweets can handle

which ones are u refering to... tweet on the deici line is crazy... energy is muted and hi energy can be crazy if u want.

lol probably why i like the energy's im not to crazy for tweeter

man, i got some hertz components in my car now, just powered with and infinity reference amp and the tweets are real bright, im pretty sure they're the energy series... definitely recommend them very much but u have to have an amp for them
