Question computer in armrest

I have an SS on order and would like to install a computer in the car to run music movies GPS and anything else I may decide. I was wondering if the armrest would be large enough to fit a 2"X7"X10" computer in .... the case is the same size as a single din radio if you are looking for a comparison.... I do not know when I will take delivery but would like to plan out my system so any place you guys and gals see fit to mount something that size please let me know

THANX

the ss doesn't come with an armrest, so it won't fit

I don't have my ss yet but i think maybe you could put it under a seat, or in the trunk, or maybe in the glove compartment

You'll have to do some SERIOUS modifications to the armrest. I measured the actual usable space in mine, and found that it is 6 inches long, 5 inches wide and at the shallowest part, about 1 3/4 deep. I'm having a hard time even finding a CD case that will fit in there. It might be easier to just locate the computer elsewhere. Sorry man.

Have you been to www.mp3car.com yet? Maybe you could get some ideas aside from the armrest for a location. This is something I'll def. do but I'm going for more of an OEM look to mine if at all possible. Check out their forums, tons of good info there.

MP3Car.com

Yup I have checked out MP3Car.com and have gotten so many good ideas from them. thats another great forum. the problem is I need the people that already have the SS here to help me out to answer their questions so I can plan my system without having the car. but you guys have been great about getting me the info I ask for. I think I will go with my box under the seat can anyone get me approximate dimmenions for under the SS passanger seat?
