First, I want to get the Metra 70-2202 Harness (Door chimes arent that important to me) but all the ones i look at are for Saturn Ion / Vue... I know Ion and Cobalts are very similar cars, I just want to confirm that this will work.

Secondly, what is the depth dimension for the 6x9 speakers

I drive the 2.2 Coupe btw.

 

yes that number is correct its a saturn harness

most 6X9s will fit in the cobalt opening. What all are u looking at getting?

 

Well I ask what depth because my roommate has some 6x9s that hes gonna give me if they fit

 

they should fit. depth isnt a concern its the width of the basket

 

yea you can have like 2 feet depth... yes feet cuz the depth just goes into the trunk
