Should i have cobalt ss in blue neon light up or any ideas it will be painted balck to match my car with a cutout for words or something

a decent fiberglass enclosure should run about $600 by itself.... def. make sure it is thick enough to handle the pressure from those subs, if it isnt it will not sound very good...

im just paying for material no labor and the material is discount im having all my friends help me to save me money he said he is doing a custom box made of wood to hold the subs then 8 layers of fiber glas built around the box and molded into the trunk so you will see nothing but fiberglass and the rubber part of the subs (surround part) then probally floating amps in each corner

ok hang on.... wood frame is good, then what i do is drape the material over it, coat with thick layer of resin.... then, rather than messing up the nice smooth surface on top, i fill it from the inside with a resin/powder mix. the poweder i use is dexotrouphic powder, and makes the resin very very thick.... I had to mail order it from a boat place in michigan as it is very hard to find. 1 pound of it will do a box easy, plus it gets rock hard. I use like a strechable baseball type jersey material, i have used fleece type things before, and it doesnt strech as well. I havent takled my sub box yet, but i did make a new trunk lid, and a thing to replace the factory sub that holds my dvd player and my cd changer. I will post some pics for you this weekend when i am home. have you heard those subs yet? i have always liked the polk momo ones, they look nice, and sound pretty good too. let me know how things turn out, or if you have any questions. if you do a search for interior progress report, you can see some of my work in the early stages....

if you build the boxes from wood, and just skin it with fiberglass, it will look pretty sweet, and still hold up good

good luck, and post some pics
