custom glovebox light

if i wire an LED strip as a glove box light, where is a good place to run it through the firewall to get to the positive poll of the fuse box... or can i use an unused slot in the fuse box, and just a random ground somewhere? any help would be great!!!
thanks

-Casey

just use the side panel on the passenger side, find a 12v remote source and tap it.

you can do that or use a switch and a 12 volt pos (cig lighter wire) or get fancy and wire it AFTRE the switch for the dome light so when that is on so is your glove box...
