People have told me when they're in the back seat the child seat things in the back rattle like crazy. I also rattled off my rear defrost connection, I soddered it back on, but it fell off again right away.

Do what i did, take out the two tens, put in four 12's and you'll never hear the rattles again, guaranteed

I should do something about them myself, but I can't notice them in the front so I guess I'm not in too big of a hurry.

I just put in 2 12s and with my friends amp for testing they sounded great but the car rattles like crazzy now!

Im going to try to fix them when I get an amp of my own and can sit and find them.

don't know about the balt yet but with my old civic si I stuffed regular old home insulation up in th back dash, rear side panels, where ever there were plastics rattling. And for the annoying liscence plate rattle, i went and bought a bicycle tube, cut into strips and and put behind the plate till rattle was gone.

I just turn down the bass on my amp for SQ and find that point right before rattles. Then if I wanna bump...well lets say I can turn it up enough to where you won't hear the rattles.

I am having the same annoying problem as well and I guess dynomat will be the route I take. However, I dont want to spend the money on the whole trunk, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do for SQ or just deal with it one.

I hear ya about rattles! I've got a couple 12" RF HE2s and a 1800 watt amp and the god damn car rattles bad! Actually even with the music off it's really bad. I can watch the rear deck where the speakers are vibrate with the music off driving down the road. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the aftermarket spoiler that I put on there. Even though it's the factory spoiler! No aftermarket spoiler on my car. I didn't bother to argue with them. I plan on dynomating the whole car someday so...

They are up in the rear window, you know where the rear speakers are. They flip up so you can hook a baby seat there. They just pull up and out. They also cause lots of rattles.

After a couple months I just took my whole system out.
The rattles were just too much for me and I didnt want to dynamat/second skin the entire car (which is what it needs + some).
I was running 1 MTX 9512-04 on a Memphis MCD-1500 @ 4ohms... From the moment I put it in everything in the car and outside the car rattled.
Worst part of it all is that a few of the rattles..... Outer door handles and Rear decklid havent gone away even after removing it... I think it loosened stuff up... oh well.

Dynamat is your answer. Find a trunk kit at Best Buy or online. Have someone tear out all your trunk carpet and install it, or do it yourself. I had 2 12in subs that I will be putting back in and the Dynamat makes a huge difference.
