has anyone ever installed one of these in there car:
Alpine SBS-05DC In-dash center channel car speaker at Crutchfield.com
was thinking of doing so any thoughts?

i haven't herd one personally but i do have a center channel. what exactly are you looking to gain mind i ask?

I have one too using a pioneer speaker pod. Works great. I used this:
Pioneer USA - TS-CX7 - Enjoy Multi-Channel Surround Systems using our Center Channel Speaker
