digital audio

how the hell do you know if you have digital audio? i ask cuz im havin to buy the mountin stuff for my antenna cuz i was tryin to take my ark antenna off and broke the mount on the inside tryin to get it off.. gmparts direct shows one for digital audio and one for w/o digital audio.

Not sure, but I would think it would be digital if you have the head unit that displays radio station info (Radio Data System i think they call it)

thats what im thinkin too but i wasnt sure. my stock radio did that but i've put an aftermarket radio in a while back.

actually the diagram is showin its for the antenna on the rear of the car, but who knows..

Antenna

Is the Cobalt (or anything that shares the antenna) sold in other countries?

Maybe there is a spec in another country that includes a digital radio signal.

Either way, I think you're okay with the analog one.

nah hd radio doesnt require a diff antenna. just a "tuner" box

new finding after doing 6X9s in a 09 TC theres a secondary box in the rear deck other then xm.... im thinking Sp33dyG got it right with hd radio
