Lightbulb Digital Climate Control

I was thinking of replacing my manual climate control with a digital climate control. I have a 2008 Chevy Cobalt. Was looking for advice, what do I need, which one would work, and has anyone done this?

I don't know why you would need to replace vents for a climate control we have vents to blow air through. Don't know what sensors you would need. My 2008 already has a cabin temp sensor. That's a start. What you need now is something to put all the pieces together.

k ing?

the thing is the current HVAC is digital. not 100% but digital none the less. so you would need the new "digital" hvac to send the exact same signal/data to the bcm for it to work. then of course add the temp sensors as you wish or as required. this would require reverse engineering both hvacs and seeing what lines up... for what doesnt idk

not sure if i still do but i may have all the information you would need regarding what the current hvac system does. way back in the day i was planning on changing hvac controls from a different gm vehicle and it never happened

Been off seeing if you had the info. Been looking into the requirements for the placement of the digital climate control.
