Do Aftermarket Power Windows Suck in General??!

So last night after leaving a friends house I decided to go to DQ to get an ice cream. I pulled up to place my order and pushed "down" on my window button and after the window got about halfway down, I heard a "knock" sound come from inside the door and suddenly the window stopped. I pushed "up" on the button but it remained in the same location, the window motor just humming away. I tried the passenger side button and it worked fine, but my drivers side window remained still in the same position.

Needless to say I had to drive 10 miles home with the window halfway down in early January. Thankfully it was a "warm" 47 degrees out so it wasn't as bad as it could have been. This has been the third such problem caused by my aftermarket power windows. The first time, they blew a fuse, causing me to lose my power steering, and the second time they just blew a fuse rendering them selves nonfunctioning. Do all aftermarket power windows suck as hard as mine?

What brand do you have? Autoloc are pretty good from what I hear. Another one, cant think of the name, are used often.

Aftermarket power windows are just as good as stock power windows.Sounds to me like an install issue. If you blew the fuse twice, most likely they fucked up the actual mounting of the power window motor.Bring it back and have them fix it.
