Does Anyone Know Speaker Sizes In These Cars?

I was just wondering what the speaker sizes are on the Cobalts... I have new speakers in my Beretta right now.. And I am pulling them out when my LS Coupe comes in.. So, I was wondering if they would fit.. Does anyone have any info on this????

I am not sure, but I would guess that the rear seakers will be 6 x 9 and the door maybe 5 1/4. I took a look on Crutchfield, but they dont have anything listed yet. You might want to email them.

there are 4 6.5", 2 in the door, 2 in back, then tweeters in the front dash i am assuming, and then a 10" pioneer sub in the trunk

Is the sub mounted under the rear dash?

Interesting. I wonder how much room it takes up then.

The Cobalt people did a good job at hiding the sub so it doesn't take up any trunk space. I'm impressed.

...dealer specs list the system as "Pioneer 7 Speaker w/Subwoofer" I have it in mine and it is okay...not very boomy but okay. I think I like the Monsoon system that came in my 2001 Grand Am GT better...it has better bass and overall headroom before distortion (more factory wattage) than my Cobalt. Of course I added an amp and subwoofer and bass blockers to protect the factory speakers to that car to pump it up some.

I'm ordered my car with just the base system... I figured I might be able to put in my speakers I have in my Beretta!

228 Watt amp I believe (might be split with the other speakers aswell.

Having an unamped sub is pretty pointless.
