instrument panel

I have read numerous thread where people are having situations where the instrument panel goes crazy, zeros out, idiot lights come on, etc. No one has come up with a solution. I've changed the instrument panel, fuse box. Please help we use this car for my husband's work. Car doesn't run, he makes no money. He travels across country. Our mechanic can't figure it out. Any suggestions?

I'll have him try. I know he unplugged one at a time. He will be home with the car Monday and is going back to the shop but it's getting expensive. It seems like it should be a simple solution.
