Need suggestions

Hey guys. Have a friend with an 08 LNF. Making a ticking noise (not hpfp) and i checked it out for him and i believe it has a noisy lifter. He asked about ideas for performance upgrades while were there and i told him id ask on here since im not as familiar with LNFs. Good cams? Springs, etc? go back with stock? Any advice is appreciated. I'll be doing the work for him. Thanks!

Zzp is want you want to look into if he's interested in getting or building a better head so I would start there. If I break a spring I'm upgrading and would start with springs, cams esc maybe ported head but it all depends on how far he want to go and how much money he wants to spend

If he isn't needing to rev past 6200 ( no idea what turbo he has) I would just replace the lifter and valve cover gasket. If he is stock turbo he will be fine on stock valve train. K04 isn't worth pushing past 6,000 even on e.

Not zzp, josh billheimer on Facebook (lsjion on here) is the man you want to talk too. Would be a bit cheaper than zzp and he really knows what he is doing when it comes to porting.
