Easiest Switched Power (for non-sunroof cars)

I searched through the forums on where to get switched power to run my xm sattelite radio on my dash. I did not feel like ripping stuff apart to tap into an outlet, or piggbyack it onto something of importance. My LT was not equipped with a sunroof and i noticed it has a 15A fuse for the sunroof on the fuseblock. I pulled the fuse out and cut a connecter in half so it would fit on the side with power, ran my own 5a inline fuse and now i have power to my radio on a dedicated circut. Just thought i would share this, and sorry if it is old news. I think this is the easiest way to get switched power for acessories.

idk why, but my fuseblock has a spot for the sunroof fuse, but no power, so i have to tap the wipers or dome lights

there are a BUNCH of switched sources, tap one from ur inside fusebox

people need to correctly get a switched source instead of ghetto rigging everything

i belive there are 4 if not more empty fuses in the 2,2 that are switched. all switched sources are ACC sources. they turn off when you open ur door, not turn off car.
