Does anyone have any experience with this unit? I know its a little older eclipse model but it has some nice features, and i like the looks better than the model that replaced it (eclipse 5030)

My decision is between this and the kenwood excelon x693. Both seems to have just about the same features, and they come to the same price pretty much. I just cannot find any reviews of the eclipse online, i dont know if its because its bad or because its great and nobody needed to rant about it

 

never used it but i havent herd bad things about their radios before. the few eclipses ive used have all been good

but i also really like those kenwoods. that style of faceplate is much better in terms of usage IMO then the on on the KDC-X493 and such

 

I miss their older simple headunits....

 

If you want the CD5100 I have one left at my store(brand new sealed ect.) The unit is flawless and a wonderful piece. I had sold probably around 30 of these units and everybody loved them. Not a single unit had come back on warranty and very nice to use.

 

man i wish i saw that a couple days ago. i already ordered one off ebay. it was 178 shipped. I dont think that too bad of a price since its over $200 on most places.
