I personally have a 7 speaker kicker system and love it. I've had it since 3 weeks after I bought the car. Year and a half now. Sounds great and nice and loud.

I'm thinking about going with the fosgate p3 shallow as well but which one is best for the 2009 SS Stock dash unit ? 2 ohm or 4 ohm? Thanks.

i wouldnt put it on the stock amp but the best option is a dual 2 ohm. i dont think fosgate makes them in dual so second best thing is single 2 ohm and only use 1 set of the wires

Well I only have one 10 right now so I think it should be an improvement. Not looking for award winning bass or anything like that. Just a nice crisp hard hitting sub.

get a round sub. square gets louder but sounds way worse.

i would look at Digital Designs since they get loud and sound in a ported box but theres alot of good stuff out there re se, fi q ect are good choices as well

Love DD stuff. RE isnt too bad either. Also a hertz and DynAudio fan.

But I think he is getting a hookup on the Fosgate or Kicker.
