Hopefully someone can help me im installing an after market head unit in my 06 cobalt ss with the pioneer system. Do i need this GMOS-LAN-04 i dont care if i have door chimes and dont have onstar any info would be great . Thanks

 

I'm pretty sure that the GMOS-LAN-04 is only to maintain OnStar*. If you don't have it then I don't think you need to worry about it. I have it, but I also have OnStar* so yea...good luck with the install man. What unit you got?

but i also am gettin one installed (well i doing it) and i have been told that the Scosche GM13SR will work too.

Also don't forget about the antenna adaptor

Thats a nice one. I was gunna get that one but I wanted just a little bit bigger screen so I went with the P4100DVD

 

^^^ same reason i want the 4100 over the 3100

 

I love the 4100, but I bet that the 3100 is just as equally good just smaller screen

 

and bigger buttons lol i like the little buttons
