Is this a good deal?
My buddy is selling a Pioneer Avic D3 Double din. He is the orginal owner of this. Was bought last november and he bought the best buy 4 year warranty. So it has 3 years left. It comes in the original box with all the wires, and hook ups. He is gonna sell it to me for 400. is this a good deal? considering I know him and it still has a warranty and that i am buying from someone i know not ebay.
thanks for your help

psp is the performance service plan as its called. well you need to cut the plastic but thats ez. i honestly took all that stuff out like cake with a small ratchet. but some other members have stated it as being difficult so whatever
meh not really. the metal is just the bracket to give the stock unit more support on the back (holds the lil prong on the back)

Don't cut it just unbolted.
Some of us (me included) got a little frustrated and hacked it out. This way is no fun at all and i dont suggest it.
There are 4 bolts holding it just unscrew them and take it out, then you can put it back it.
Emp- I may be mistaken but i thought they were 7mm or 9/32 size bolts in there same as the rest of the screws holding in the radio, everything else in the car from the headlights to the trunk latch was 10mm
Oh you were talking about the plastic, just cut it you'll never see it
