One is enough. My subs are rated at 175w RMS per coil, so multiply by 8, and that comes out to 1400w RMS

A DX1500.1 puts out 1800w RMS @ 1ohm, and I will be wiring the subs to get 1ohm, so one DX1500.1 will be enough

 

I sell/install car audio for a living. Kicker happens to be one of the many brands I sell in mass quantities and as such I understand the full legal obligations when under sale/use contracts by Kicker. Demo equipment must be kept for a minimum of one year and only then can it be sold at retail pricing. If any "unused" equipment is given away and/or sold for profit without their consent you will be subject to HUGE fines.

And by having money I mean you appear on tv, have 10 cars, and live in million dollar homes. It's a Cobalt dude, get over it. Get a job and buy your own equipment.

 

I got news for you kid. I have here in front of me the dealer confidential CEA2007 book. Nowhere on there does it say anything about Elevation Audio, EA, E.A. or anything of the like. Guess what. It's not in the 06 book either. Someone is taking you for a ride. Damn good one too. I could have told you that earlier also because no company in the world offers close to a true 1000RMS watts even under $300 at cost to a dealer. Lol. Granted many can claim to have that much power...none do. But good luck. In ten years you will hopefully look back and go...what the **** was I smoking?
