so how much slower does your car feel with all the added weight?? Just playin', I'm not too interested in loud music, but your setup looks like a clean install, nice work..

Quite a sexy setup. With the two 10's, what is the rattle like. All my rattle seems to come from the bottom of my trunk, but mine fire directly out, not up at an angle like yours.

There is no rattle. I put about 50 sq feet of sound deadener in the trunk. The whole trunk lid is nice and solid.

All looks really nice. I like the shine on the box...Does it get all finger printed up when you handle it?

When did alpine go back to the solid "single surround" subs? I thought even the new ones had the ripple (some times also called multi-surrounds) for the R-Types.

Here is a couple pics of the noens in my trunk at night. They are kinda blurry but you get the point. As for the alpine sub surrounds... they are 2 years old. Enjoy.

I just snipped the wires that lead to the trunk light and directly wired the cathode tubes to it. I like it like that. Its only on when the trunk is open.

where did you find that antenna? I can't an antenna anywhere for my 07 cobalt. I hate how the stock antenna is a mile higher then the roof of the car, I just unscrewed my antenna, but I wouldn't mind having a short antenna like the one you have.

In this picture, the dynamat on top how many pieces did you cut.
I don't have any parts dynamated yet but I am going to, I was looking on the dynamat box
and it didnt show any peices for where you did your dynamat.
The reason why I am asking is because that part that you have dynamated vibrates alot on my car
I was wondering if you have listened to the rattle in your trunk before you mated it or did you do it
all at once so you would'nt know?

I did everything before I installed the subs. I just covered the big areas first and then cut smaller pieces for more detail. It was a very tedious job. The whole trunk took me and my buddy about 5 hours. But it sounds soooooo amazing. Totally worth it. Plus I pnly added like 15 pounds or something like that.
