I went into circuit city tonight to buy a wiring harness for putting in my cobalt. Base without the pioneer system. I asked the guy how much? He said $90 i was like your crazy. He said its the only way to put in the aftermarket radio. Any truth to this. I saw a harness on crutchfield for 14.95.

 

Sounds like he is trying to sell you the seperate module for the door chimes which most GM's need. But the Cobalt's are different, the chimes still work when the stereo is disconnected. No seperate module needed, just the harness itself is all you need.

 

get the 03+ Saturn Ion Harness... i think

 

the 03 ION harness is not the right one...i got the 04-05 saturn ION harness and it worked perfect
