Does anybody know where there's a wire under the dash that's hot with the headlights? I'd like to hook up the dimmer on my deck and it'd be easier if I could tag a wire under the dash instead of tagging a wire at the headlight and running it back through the firewall.

tehre is a fuse for it but if your trying to dim it with the dahs at the same time just run it to the dimmer conrtoll

 

Are you sure the fuse is only hot when the lights are on? Or is it upstream of the switch? I'll have to check it when I tear it back apart but I want to have a game plan first.
