Hey guys, I have some issues with my headlights. It's pretty complicated/confusing but I'll try and explain it easy.

I have the vleds switchback LED turn signals.... they should be white on parking light mode and then turn orange on turn signal mode. Here is the problem:
ALSO - I have the vleds resistors spliced in as well.

Driver side light:
Light is always white, for parking light mode and for turn signal mode...

Passenger side light: wired the EXACT same way as the driver side and does not even come on in parking light mode.... and then flashes ORANGE in turn signal mode.. so it is never white at all..

What the hell is going on here?!

Oh, and SOMEHOW these are my hazzards..... WTF?! - (don't mind the people talking, those are my friends ha)

might be the Switchbacks
might want to return them and get a new set

 

Yeah, I think i'm going to try shooting them an E-mail.

 

extremely dumb ideas but here are my only thoughts

1) bulbs are junk
2) resistor wired in wrong
3) try flipping the bulbs the other way cuz sometimes those LED ones are picky like that

 

There's really only one way the resisters COULD be wired - no?
Anyone have any pictures or can explain how they have theirs wired in?

Their 3157's if I remember correctly.

 

i just threw very newb ideas out there.. just making sure you took the only two wires you could logically choose

 

Yeah I mean i'm not very good when it comes to electrical stuff either, but I figure theres only one way you can wire them... but still if anyone has them itd be awesome if you could post how yours are wired.

 

idk how to wire the resistors but how id guess they would be installed is inline the pos wire (thats how a resistor should be installed to do what they are supposed to do but idk if something else is the proper/actual way to do it). as far as the bulbs, try flipping the white bulb. i know i could get my vled amber only bulbs to do weird **** flipping them around. not quite like that thou but i ran and am still running them flipped for some reason (i don't even remember anymore but i tried all the options and choose which one i liked best) there is a possibility they are broken thou but try swapping them in all different ways and see what happens. If i remember correctly mine did different things when they were both correct, one of the 2 were backwards and both were backwards but its been a while so idk for sure
