Headlights

Im getting CCFL Halos for my G5 and I was wondering if I can just buy the headlights, replace the bulb with a 7000k bulb and just install them without an HID kit.

Well the bulbs are already 7000k. Plus bulbs are like 40 bucks while the whole kit can get a little bit more expensive.

Well u don't need an hid kit, but what are you gonna do with the 7000k bulbs then. Are you getting 7000k colored halogen bulbs? Just slightly confused. The aftermarket projectors come with halogen bulbs in them, so you're fine running halogens

I was going to get these and install them with the projectors.

4X NOKYA H10/9145 7000K HID XENON LOOK LIGHT BULBS 45 W on eBay!

Something like those. I just have to see which ones can fit.

Oh ok I see what you mean. As long as you get the right size bulbs they'll work no problem

i dont see the point, so. instead of buying a 70 dollar hid kit with a LIFETIME warranty from ddmtuning.com, your gonna buy 40 dollar bulbs with idk... just a guess 2-3 year warranty max?(and correct me if im wrong about that) And also ur buying bulbs that are more expensive that replacement hid bulbs, less output that REAL hids, just so itl look like HIDs? i dont see your logic lol.

Alright so I came across those complete retrofit ones in the link above.

Since I pretty much dont have a lot of knowledge on hids, what makes them good? And so expensive?
