headunit?

i am thinking about getting the Kenwood Excelon KVT-717DVD. i have seen it and read the specs on it and it seems like a good player. i can add lot of stuff and its sirius and HD radio ready. it also has the RDS feature which i like becasue it tells you the song from the station. it also has the Mp3 player which is a cool idea since you dont have to make or have a million CDs. its a touch screen dvd player and navi can be added later on.

I had this in my old WRX for a short period and this thing was TERRIBLE. It was my first in dash DVD player so I was still getting used to it. Man, the sound quality on that thing was so bad I was happy to take a $300 loss selling it on Ebay. Stick with Pioneer AVIC series units and you can't go wrong. I don't want to sound like I'm pushing a product on you, but I am selling one if you are interested so I can upgrade to the Z1. Let me know if you have tech questions on any of the units and I'd be more than happy to help!

get a alpine or pioneer if you are going with a sceen. alpine is always better sounding but if you want nav. go with the pioneer, the add on for nav. on the alpine is like 1700.
