help the audio noob, got some basic questions

I just recently installed a system (tweeters,6-1/2, 6x9) and im having issues
1. i have really annoying static at all volume levels in my rear 6x9s and especially my tweeters, i just spliced into the stock wiring fyi
2. my treble is wwwwwaaaayyyy high and kind of obnoxious
3. songs with multiple guitars sound like crap ie. offspring, ac/dc, nine inch nails to name a few, i feel like it cant handle multiple sounds like a combo of vocal, guitar, bass guitar and drums...

i have a basic understanding of audio, and i know i have to get a new h/u and an amp if i want to use to their full potential but if you guys could give me a few pointers that wouldnt involve me buying anything right now that would help a lot!

are the 6.5 and tweeters a componet set or did you get them seperetly?..

that static sound usually means you have a weak ground

shitty connections?
pay the money, get the component system, get an amp, new HU.
then you are set. i have two 61/2s and 2 6X9s and a 4 channel amp; sounds great.

theres nothing wrong with getting serpret peices as long as you do it correctly, making sure there the same ohm, using a crossover ect ect...like i found 6.5's i loves but i hate aluminum tweeters, so i got diffrent silk ones instead. anyone who would make fun of you for that wont be real audio people

anyone know if the stock speakers use a crossover or no?

did you do any wiring at all? or just hook everything to stock wires? i know it said you did but if you even did a little bit, you could have crossed another power wire and were getting interference

and is it coming out of all the speakers or specific ones?

yea i plan on getting an amp and HU this summer but right now im really sick of the stupid buzzing/static noise

Its really weird cuz its coming out of my rear 6x9 and my front tweeters but absolutely NONE from my 6.5's.

and yes i basically pulled the stock wires out of the old speakers and reattached them to the wiring harness deal for all the speakers. Could it be the cheap ass wiring the people gave me for the 6x9s? its honestly like less than 20 gauge... its about 4 copper wires total.

as far as ohms go, i know my rear speakers and my 6.5's have the same rating of 4. ill do a quick check on my tweeters.... **** there 2 ohms how bad is that?

bummmp

i bet you have some interference somewhere, double check your connections and then either dich the tweeters or go out and buy 6.5s w/out the tweeter. (thats what i would do)

check if they are in phase... (pos and neg are correct on both sides)
if your 100% stock other then speakers then .01% chance its an install error.... If u just cut off the stock connector and made a good connection to the speakers then there isnt much more you can do. Assuming that is true either ur stock HU is going to **** or your speakers are blown or just really crappy choose ur poison

like emp said, make sure all the pos. and neg. connections are correct, you can send a reversed polarity to the speakers and blow them. so thats what you may have done.
