6 1/2.

@tvalentino: I was thinking of getting some Type-X's for my front stage. I've like Alpine before for subs.. But for mids/highs are they pretty good?

Do you not have pods for your tweeters? Just wondering why you got the 650x's with the built in tweeter and not the 650's with the external ones.

if you want highs and arent gettin em outta your speakers put a set of bass blockers on your lines goin to that speaker(s)..they are cheap and guarantee you'll get better highs outta that speaker(s) then..JL Audio FTMFW

bass blockers are lil resistors that jus filter out your bass... ___blocker___ speaker ....the blocker jus gets put on the positive line goin into the speaker like that...simple cheap easy and effective...i had same problem with my JL's when i got em at first the blockers really helped
