help please?

here is the new setup that i plan on throwing in my car(cobalt ss/sc 2006) removing the back seat on making a custom fiberglass enclosure.

2 x Kicker Solobaric L7 15" DVC Subs (2-ohms per coil)
1 x Kicker ZX2500.1 x1 Amplifiers (2500 @ 2ohms)
1 x Optima Yellow Top D34 batteries (replace orig) <-- might change
1 x Kintetik HC2400 (back)
1 x 1/0AWG blue power cable 50ft

D43 specs:
Cold Cranking Amps: 750
Cranking Amps: 870
Reserve Capacity: 120 mins.
Capacity (C/20 rate): 55

Kintetik HC2400 specs:
Ah: 128
Amps: 2600

now i have been asking around and some people say i will need a new high output alternator for this setup. Any input on this?

My installer said it could possibly work with a isolator and capacitors.

What is the best route on this to have in run well? If i do need a new ho alt anyone know where i can fine one for a cobalt ss/sc 2006? ive been looking everywhere and cant find them

It doesn't matter what you put in it. It will get stolen quickly.

just don't go blasting your sound system before you park somewhere or by the home? Def would invest in some security mods.

if you have the money to put a bigger alternator on then do it because i had a Memphis 1000d and a Memphis 220x4 hooked up and my lights would dim when the bass hit

never herd of that alt brand... or a direct replacement for the factory alt... either way mine is staying.

also fyi the battery is in the back so the yellow top isnt nessicary. and if your going to be adding batts your going to have to move something. a group 31 isnt going to fit good anywhere "stock" (either side behind the wheel wells or the spare tire well without cutting. So i recommend 2 kinetik 1600 or whatever that group 34 model is

correct me if i misunderstood what you said please. So i should keep my stock battery and add 2 kinetiks? I found a kinetick that will fit a group 34. The Kinetik 1800(HC1800 Group 24) is 0.325" taller (but every other dimension fits the group 34)

Also you have dual alts? how did you go about doing that?

no stock battery is in the trunk. not sure if you realize that. I was just stating that if you want to keep room in your trunk then the best way to do so is to use 2 smaller batteries (group 34 or 24 in the 1800's case) then trying to fit a bigger one along with the stock or a yellow top or whatever. If your willing to sacrifice space then go for the biggest you can but thats your call

oh and yes i do have 2 alternators. Stock and a 245amp ohio gen. I actually have pics now but since its not "connected" ive yet to do any real posting on it. I need to get a stage 1 kit and hopefully i can get everything up and running soon
