ah ok.. wow i feel dumb haha.. yeah im using stock housings. long day at work lol.. thanks guys

EDIT:

oh.. i also heard somewhere that when using HID's you should remove your day time running lights fuse. Im assuming to protect the HID's especially if you hit some light and dark patches in a short amount of time. This a good thing to do? or is it like some kind of myth?

most people have to pull the DRL fuse bcus on some newer models the daytimes run the highbeams at a lower voltage... and ballasts dont like that so they flicker and bitch out.. i think on the 05-06 models only the parking lights are on during the day so its not a big deal if thats ur cars year...

but please dont put HIDs in ur stock headlight... ur an asshat if u do

whats so wrong with putting them in the stock head lights? I actually like the stock lights. i use to have the 1 gen halos, but i just grew out of them. Plus i plan on blacking out the housing.

because you'll blind the oncoming traffic.
I'm not gonna lie, I had HID's on stock headlights for a long time

hey, if you're gonna put an hid kit in anyways, and you're gonna crack open your stock lights to paint them. Why not put in some plug and play retros from buyhids.com. This way you will have the stock headights, projectors, hids, and you will not blind anybody. These projectors fit directly into the stock housing and basically just screw in. They come with a relay harness ready for full plug and play.

just pick retrofit install package. You can pick these up on ebay too. Search G1 projectors.
