didnt know where to put this, but i just got my fogs and retros from buyhids.com my issue is the fogs look realy blue compaired to the headlights and they are both supose to be 8k's, heres a pic sorry its a bad one off cell. do you guys think i got 10k's for my fogs?

 

is one 55w and one 35w?

 

that i do not know. could that be it? i mean its realy blue, got pulled over for it today on way to school

 

lol yeah 55w ballasts (if thats the case for your headlights) wash out 2k or some odd k of color

 

what temp are your headlights supposed to be??

both are 8k's

 

They look the same to me. Also fogs will be slightly different in color compared to real projector lenses and cutoff line. Most of the color in the projectors are at the cutoff line where its supposed to be. The fogs are made for halogens.

 

Different manufactures have different versions if colors. Same thing happen to me when I did my buyhids retros and fogs. Both 12k but fogs are a lil darker.

 

i got 8k's on my lights and fogs love them there great!

 

i know the pic shows like that, on you site if you look at the color pics, the fogs look like 12k's and the headlights are like 8k's which they should, why this concered me is that a cop had to make a big deal about it

pic's do they look different colors to you when you look at them, cause a color blind guy at my work noticed the difference

that's why brent recommended i go 6000k which is what we did, do you like the look of them?

 

i was trying to color match you know how i had those 10k's and stock fogs looked like crap now its like i put those aftermarket LED fogs with the color change, so i might buy the kit for the 6k's just to fix it.

fact of the matter is a dick hole cop had to pull me over not 2 days after install. when they turn on its like a blueish purple they do whiten up a bit but with just the fogs on the snow is baseicaly blue.
