How do I wire 2-wire lock/unlock actuators to single wire button?

Hi all,

Just looking for some guidance in hooking up SPAL actuators with 2 seperate wires (lock and unlock (assuming just power and ground) ) with the factory lock/unlock switch, which only uses a single wire to move the GM actuators.

From what I have gathered on Google, I think I have a reverse polarity system, and need to use resistors/relays to set this up. Can anyone give me any ideas/direction on how I would go about wiring this up? Hoping to work on this tomorrow when I work on the car again.

Bump...Anyone? I think I have to use something like a DEI 451M to do this.

Incase this helps someone give me advice on this, I did find this while searching last night:

from here https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/newr...eply&p=6112316

so I know the one wire just use ground for lock and then resistance for unlocking, and assume relays are needed to convert between 1 wire with this kind of setup and 2 individual wires on the SPAL actuator kit.
