Try not to "tape" into anything. Only tap into the power outlet if you need to (and i've never HAD to). It depends on how you want to run the lights. If you want to be able to run them with the car off and use a remote, run a direct FUSED line from the battery. If you want to run it with retained accessory power, and because you have an LS and probably no sun roof, tap into the sunroof line. Its not being used anyways, and I think its rated for 10amps+
As always, when tapping into a fuse, go on the COLD side of the fuse UNLESS you have your own fuse to protect your line. If you tap the hot side the fuse will not protect you. Its best to use a unused line, or create your own. You have no way of telling how many amps stock electronics will pull, and no body likes having the car's electrical system fried.

well what youre gonna need is..

a toothbruth
an apple
a roll of TP
and a screwdriver
a razor blade (dull is better)

first take the toothbrush and pry off the plastic parts. then take a drink of your screwdriver. continue onto the wires. take the rusty razor blade and start cutting wires.. they are color coded so dont worry too much.. check that screwdriver again... now take the apple and poke some holes into the sides. try that screwdriver again....take the wires you need and the wires that are in the car and plug them into the apple. before you go on. test out that screwdriver again.. now after you puke in the lawn.. take the TP clean your face off. and there may be some on your shoes. where is your other shoe?.. now youre almost finished.. take the apple and cram it up inside the dash. a screw thats sticks out will hold it fine.. now.. call your best friend and ask him to come over and get you out of the car, cause you are stuck under the dash.. if you were smart you took the screwdriver with you and you may have to finish that off.

just havin some fun.. but you can give it a try if you like....
