How to keep Auto EQ set to custom?

Still have the factory radio in my '06. Every time I start the car, the audio EQ goes back to CLASSICAL. Is there a way to keep it on CUSTOM?

Put it on the station you want along with the custom setting and reset your preset by pushing the number until it beeps. Do it for all 18 (6x2FM and 6x1AM) And you're done. You can have each station set to a different tuner, i.e: rock, country, custom, but all customs will be the same until you adjust the eq. That should take care of the problem.
