I cut the pink wire and hooked up to a car fuse so its on with the car. and theres an open wire in my harness and when i move it the speakers switch off humming what is the blue wire in the factory side of the harness for the 05-06 cars? would it go with the ant cont. thats whats blue on my kenwood.

I never had it do this in the lt so idk what to do.

holy ****... the pink wire is the amp turn on it should be hooked up to the harness of the aftermarket HU. blue in the harness is probably a speaker wire

why are u cutting ur harness anyway?

 

edit: that first post was all wrong sorry its a blue wire on the hu harness thats not attatched now it is. the speakers have consant static just barely like an fm ipod tuner when its off. on all modes

 

what radio is it?

 

kenwood ddx512 just ipod cord. no nav or bt wired in

 

hmm idk man are u getting audio at all now?

 

yep audio works great but when its off theres just white noise like with the volume allll the way to 0
