I I was driving my 06 ls and my gauges went crazy and shut off, then my car shut completely off! Now I have no power and there was steam pouring out of the power wire on the battery?? Help please

 

Sounds like you had a ground out somewhere. Its a pain trying to diagnose wiring faults.

 

ya ull probably need to take it to a mechanic. You can try getting a multimeter and seeing if there's continuity from the power and ground wire on the battery. also visually check for anything "off" by the battery

 

check fuses it never hurts cause what ever wiring problem you have a fuse could go as well.
