Subscribed to see the progress. I'm wanting to start on fiberglass this summer. Probably start small and build a few model car displays first to get used to it before I try anything in the car. Cant wait to see updated pics.

it's going to the moon !! nah but really here's some updated pics of the layers outside the box. let me tell you this, i was in bliss lol. glassing sitting down with the birds chirping n **** lol and the resin not jellin on me till i was done laying the matt. -next step probably a few more layers then after it's done curing i'll trim it down with cutting wheel , sander etc.

-i was out getting some more mekp for the resin at west marine and I saw this lol. an on duty cop stopping at the bank. take it two ways: i originally thought she was gonna pull me over for exhaust etc. / should she really be at the bank?

actually quite easily. planning and designing the box is just as important as its construction.

Reason i say that is. Carbon Fiber is so delicate. One touch will screw up the sheet. But cool stuff to see in person as a sheet. Thickness of the sheet is very important. ive seen thin and thick. big difference

if you do it right you dont need a vacuum. Vacuum bagging is great when you have very large pieces with difficult contours.

easy way to open/chug beer and make resin cup

-get can of beer

-put your one touch easy can opener on top of the beer

-push the button and allow to cut off lid

-now chug or use for resin

-also here's pics of the carbon fiber but bucket/ashtray that I finished for my uncle. He doesn't have cup holders anymore so I'm gonna keep it.

you are mistaken buddy lol. these are the new W3 version 3 10's from JL. They have the same style dust cap as the W6 and W7's which i think is freakin clean and sexy as hell. These are exactly what I was looking for in a sub and they will both get a clean 500 rms each.
