Inconsistant audio levels
Cobalt pictures by Derk_eliso - Photobucket
^^ Pictures of my setup. It's more than just the stereo and such, but here's whats going on...
I have a sc/ss, with the pioneer system. I removed the stock sub but kept the amp to power the speakers. And that part has been great so far, no problem.
I've added a Power Acoustik amp... 2 channel, 2x300 rms @ 4ohm, 2x380 rms @ 2ohm, max 1800 watts. And its running 2 Infinity Reference 1262w, 12", Dual 4 ohm Peak 1200w, RMS 300w... My head unit is a Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD...
I installed everything myself, needless to say I felt confident enough in my level of knowledge to attempt this. But here I am requesting help...
My problem I'm having is whenever I hit a bump or take a sharp turn the level of audio coming from my subs increases dramatically. And actually, if I'm not mistaken I believe with the settings I have on there it should be about that loud to begin with... It almost felt like I had a bad ground, but I re-did it today and put it between the frame and the negative battery cable, I can't see how a sharp turn would affect that anyway...
I'm seriously out of ideas as to what it could be, I'm tempted to swap the amp out with a lower one to see if its the amp... but I'm really hoping it isn't. I purchased my subs to match the output of this amp...
Idk, what do you guys think? What else could be causing that?
